GOOD ADDON / PRIVACY
Privacy policy
We make browser add-ons that help with everyday work online. This policy explains our general approach to information handled by this website and our add-ons.
Last updated September 28, 2026
Overview
Good Addon designs its browser tools to use the information needed for the feature you choose. Our current add-ons process content in your browser and do not send that content to a Good Addon server. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or run analytics or tracking in our add-ons.
Permissions and data needs vary by feature. We explain a tool's access when you install, connect, or enable it. We will update this policy if a new tool changes these practices.
This website
Good-addon.net is an informational website. It has no user accounts, contact form, analytics scripts, or advertising cookies. When you visit, the hosting provider may process standard technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond.
Browser add-ons
Depending on the feature, an add-on may read content on a website where it runs, use information you enter, and store preferences or user-created rules in your browser. Some tools may hold information temporarily in memory while they are open. Our current add-ons do not send page or account content to a Good Addon server.
If an add-on offers browser sync, it is optional and must be enabled in that add-on's settings. Your browser provider may then sync the settings or rules you choose to save across compatible installations. User-created rules can include names, email addresses, or text fragments you provide. The browser provider, rather than Good Addon, operates that sync service.
Connected services
Some features may ask you to connect an account, including a Google account. The add-on requests the permissions needed for that feature and communicates with the service's API to provide it. Depending on the permission granted, this can involve account information or content such as email metadata and messages. Authentication tokens and preferences may be stored locally in your browser so the feature can work until you disconnect it.
We use Google user data only to provide the features you authorize. We do not transfer it to advertisers, data brokers, or AI models, or use it for unrelated purposes. Access to and use of data received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The permission screen and the add-on explain what access a particular feature requires before you grant it.
Your choices and retention
You can disable or remove an add-on at any time and clear locally stored settings through the add-on or your browser. If you enable an optional browser sync feature, you can turn it off; your browser provider controls data already stored in its sync service.
For connected accounts, you can disconnect in the add-on and revoke its access in the account provider's security settings. Removing an add-on or clearing its storage deletes its locally stored settings and tokens. Information kept only in an open add-on view is discarded when that view closes. Emails you send to support are kept as needed to handle your request.
